Roles And Responsibilities:
Install & Configure servers and Blade Systems
Installing and configuring server spare parts, detect defective server parts, and replace.
Install & Configure Microsoft Windows Server
Installing & Configuring the Linux software and Configuring the Network
Implement and Support complex cloud and hybrid cloud solutions using Products Portfolio (Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare )
Troubleshooting the VMs based Linux
Manages fiber channel SAN switches and directors; well versed in fiber channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, IP, zoning and masking.
Design and implementation of storage solutions
Troubleshoot storage utilizing Fiber Channel, Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), NFS and CIFS protocols
Working within a TCP/IP network environment, including DHCP, DNS and Ethernet.
Configuration and testing of any new hardware and software.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication engineering or Computer Science, or any related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of working experiences in network technologies (routers, switches, VPN, DNS, IP, VoIP, etc.)
Good knowledge in Antivirus and security applications
Be a self-starter and learner that can work independently.
Handling incoming incidents via the phone / e-mail promptly and effectively.
Escalating issues where necessary to superiors.
Updating support documentation & Create reports on hardware & consumable status.
Good understanding of IT Team activities including the core process, procedures and how they fit in with other teams
Ability to work under pressure
Working using multitasking concept.
Certifications Needed
Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
Microsoft or VMware or Citrix Professional Virtualization.
Cisco Network CCNA or CCNP preferred.
Enterprise Storage preferred.
